Vizard enables users to easily create interactive real-time
3D worlds. It replaces VRUT, a platform used at RECVEB
for much of the VR-based research. It uses Python as the
basis for scripting interaction and experiment control logic.

VRUT is a 3D graphics environment specially designed for building
and rendering virtual environments. It has been replaced by
the Vizard development effort linked above.

Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented
programming language. It is often
compared to Tcl, Perl, Scheme or Java. It is open-source
and available for nearly any platform.
